10 Star Trendsetters Teen Center was launched on
September 5, 2023 to provide a fun safe space for teens after school.

The grand opening was a huge success! Special accolades to WCPO Channel 9's Adrian Whitsett and our very own Tony Suárez of Waycross Media for great coverage. Please enjoy the links below.
This proactive initiative is the overarching design needed to minimize negative behaviors and activities that could potentially be disruptive in the community. So far, we have served 300 teenagers in the after school program. We provided pizza, snacks, drinks and games of all kinds. Tutoring is also available to help students succeed academically as this is the primary reason for going to school.
The goal is to make sure the students are given all opportunities to succeed, through adult interaction and community engagement. We know it takes a village, and we are so thankful for our village.
So many of you have stepped up to the plate to ensure the young people are given proper guidance and exposure to the good in life. We are so very thankful to each and everyone of you that sacrifice your time, experiences and finances.
Again, the 10 Star Trendsetters Teen Center’s purpose is to help and uplift and provide that bridge that connects school, education and work. It is super exciting to see all the volunteers that have provided leadership to the teens! Words are inadequate, but I hope you can feel the love!
Sincerely,
Dr. Sandra F. Dees
